Personality: Miles is career focused. He is intensely devoted to his work and the arts. His recent focus has been crawling out of the shadow of his parents and making his own way. He is confident in his skills, but not arrogant and often has to fight off self doubt.

Miles was born in 1987 in New York City. His mother Gloria was a well known dancer and choreographer for Broadway and Off Broadway Productions. His father, Theodore, was a Shakespearean trained actor who worked on the West End. There was quite an age difference between them, Gloria was in her twenties when he was born and Theodore was in his sixties. Miles would visit him in England over the summer but he primarily grew up in New York City. His father and mother, who ever married, both stressed proper diction and forbid him to speak in a New York accent. It was probably the one thing they both agreed on, He went to Private Arts Schools and began acting and singing at a young age.

He was on Broadway by the age of ten as 'Ian Wilhelm'. The change of name was his mother's idea but his friends and family still called him Miles. He loved the work but was often known more as his mother’s son than for his own work. Her fame always made him question if he obtained jobs on his own or if he was hired because of her renowned. Self doubt pushed him to go in another direction. At the age of twenty, he decided to begin auditions for television and movies. Much to his parents horror, he was cast as a tough talking New York City police detective on a Law and Order spin off. Both his parents felt he was wasting his talents on a television show where he wasn’t singing or dancing. But, Miles liked the work and the minor fame that came with it. He began to be recognized in public outside of New York City.

His show was nominated for an Emmy after five seasons which earned him attention from other producers. He was cast as the lead in a new superhero film and began filming in Pennsylvania when the storms came. The tidal wave that wiped out New York City gave him no hope of hearing from Gloria and he’s been out of communication with his father, who had moved in to a retirement home in London, as well.

Most of his cast and crew was killed in the flooding, the flu took the rest. He was lucky. However, he quickly realized that growing up with fame and money has left him unprepared for real life challenges.
